The story
The “Allegra Mats” carpets were conceived in 2020 when the designer lived in a 20 m2 apartment. She had managed to combine and have everything she needed in that tiny yet beautiful home, except for a rug, since the pole bar was right in the middle of the living room and there wasn’t enough space. Recognizing that placing a rug underneath was not the solution, as it is a dangerous practice and a really tedious one if you want to take out or remove the rug, she looked for online alternatives.
Seeing that she couldn’t find any suitable option, she decided to design them herself (with the help of her cat Coco). After many trials with materials, sizes, and qualities, the final product is a high-quality rug, handcrafted in Spain’s renowned “City of Rugs,” Crevillente.

The aim of Allegra Mats is to enhance your pole space, make it more beautiful and inviting, and to allow you to combine a pole and a rug safely. We hope you enjoy it! (Also, we want to share with you our pet pictures: here’s our little helper Coco measuring the first Allegra Mat).

Our Allegra Mat is manufactured in Alicante, and our Ayesha Mat in Barcelona, Spain. Every detail focused on pole dancing on your mat has been carefully handcrafted and supervised with care.
